Suzanne Kline, Author
Suzanne was inspired by her dog, Cosmo, to write a book about people’s ability to create joy and happiness in every moment. She believes that everyone has the capacity to dream, imagine and to create their own life experience. She resides in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina with her partner, Pat, and their two Norfolk Terriers, Cosmo and Jenna.

Daryl Slaton, Illustrator
Daryl is an experienced graphic designer, illustrator, and web animator. He has created cartoon characters, art, and interactive media for dozens of corporate clients, tourist attractions, and theme parks. He always makes an effort to appropriately add a touch of whimsy to his work. Daryl also lives in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina with his partner, Louise, and their two dogs, Cody and Sheba. This is his first children’s book.

Submission Guidelines

Happy Creek Press is a children’s book publisher. We are dedicated to the support and publication of books that make a difference in the life of a child. We want every child to know that they are already perfect and can be anything they desire in life. We publish titles that are fun, loving, educational and interesting. We treat our authors as partners and our readers like family.

If you feel your work fits with the mission stated above and is a completed book manuscript, published book or synopsis with two sample characters you can submit it to:
